Nintendo Switch OLED price comparison

3 Games consoles from established makers · Selection index 92.8 −9.4% 7 d · avg €253 · as of 18/10/2026

The Switch OLED is the best version of the first Switch generation. Here you will find new and, above all, used offers – including special editions and sets.

What makes the OLED Switch better

The Switch OLED was released in October 2021. Compared with the standard Switch, it has a larger 7-inch OLED display with richer colours, 64 GB instead of 32 GB of storage, a wider, freely adjustable stand and better speakers. The included dock has a LAN port.

Performance is the same as on the standard Switch. All games for the first Switch run on it, as do the Joy-Con and the Pro Controller.

OLED or Switch 2?

The Switch 2 is considerably more powerful and gets the new Nintendo games that are released only for it. The OLED, on the other hand, is often cheap to buy used and is perfectly adequate for the huge library of the first Switch. If you mainly play older titles, family and party games, a used OLED is a sensible choice.

  • OLED: 7-inch OLED, 64 GB, LAN in the dock
  • Switch (standard): 6.2-inch LCD, 32 GB
  • Switch 2: 7.9-inch LCD, 256 GB, new exclusive games

Checking a used OLED

Look out for scratches on the display, burn-in (rare with OLED but possible) and stick drift on the Joy-Con. Complete means: console, dock, Joy-Con with grip, power adapter and HDMI cable. Avoid offers that hint at modified software, because Nintendo can ban such consoles from its online service – we hide them.

Special editions and sets

There are numerous special editions of the Switch OLED with their own designs, for example themed on well-known Nintendo games. Technically they are identical to the normal OLED, but they are often more sought after by collectors and priced accordingly. If you don't care about the design, the white or black-and-red standard version is cheaper. Many used offers also include games, cases or memory cards – compare whether these extras are worth the extra cost to you, or take a look at our page on consoles with a game. With sets, make sure the games come as cartridges and are not just advertised as an already used download code.
